Engagement Session | Washington D.C.

Super Sneak Peek of the OFF THE CHARTS AMAZING week long engagement session of my beautiful brides Fran and Lynnea! These gorgeous souls are getting married out here in Cali next January, however are currently living in DC for their careers in the hotel industry! They had planned on flying back out here later this year to finish up some wedding business and to do their engagement session, however soon realized that with work it wouldn’t bee possible. SO, being the seriously RAD women they are, they decided to fly me out for the week to DC to do their engagement session out there.

I honestly cannot tell you just how FABULOUS my time with them was!! It was perfect in every way and is a trip I will never forget and feel so blessed to have taken. I can now officially say I’ve been to the DMV ( DC, Maryland, and Virgina ), as over the course of 4 days we hit up every single amazing spot this beautiful area has to offer! From the awe inspiring Lincoln Memorial, to the iconic Capitol Building to the adorable and tasty DC Warf, all the way down to the beautiful streets of Old Town Alexandria! You name it and we went there… It was a week of fabulous views, stunning sight seeing, yummy food, and even better company!

And as if it couldn’t get any better, we even got a chance to visit both of the GORG hotels the ladies work for… Fran works at the Gaylord Resort which overlooks the beautiful National Harbor and sits right next to Airforce One and literally has the most beautiful Atrium I have ever seen in my life! And Lynnea works for the opulent Trump International Hotel in downtown DC, where we were given a completely private sunset tour of the EPIC rooftop where the clock tower sits, and has the most STUNNING views of the city possible! I mean really… who gets to shoot their engagement pictures literally 5 feet away from the clocktower? I was in serious disbelief at the pure beauty of all of the city and monuments at night… It was CRAZY!

But best of all was getting to know and spend time with these beautiful women. Their love story is seriously one for the books, and I can’t tell you how honored I am that I get to spend their perfect wedding day with them!

Chrissy xoxo
