Let’s talk first about Chrissy as a beautiful human, aside from photography. She is as genuine and good and kind as one can find. She’s part of our family now. Her photography is amazingly refreshing, candid, and captures the beautiful emotion of life’s happiest moments. Everything about my experience with Chrissy, from our first email conversation, to phone call, to meeting her at the venue, was lovely in every way. Because in God’s world there are no coincidences, I know Chrissy truly was the perfect person for my daughter’s wedding. It’s not possible to be more thrilled than we are. Chrissy is so great! She photographed our surprise engagement. She was so sneaky about it that I didn't even realize she was there until after my fiancé was down on one knee! There are not enough positive adjectives to describe our experience working with Chrissy Gilmartin for our wedding photography. From the second we picked her she was an absolute delight to work with. Our engagement shoot was amazing thanks to her. She made us feel really comfortable and totally not akward which resulted us in having pictures we will cherish forever! She compiled a bunch of our engagement pictures into a book and surprised us with it. She really is the sweetest! Sometimes you come across someone that has such a light about them and it is very contagious, well that my friends is Chrissy in a nutshell. She is so incredibly warm and bubbly, and probably the most fun person to talk to ever. When I talked to Chrissy for the first time it was as if we had been friends for years. She was so easy to talk to and I knew from our first conversation that I just had to have her as our wedding photographer. What first drew me to Chrissy was her style and her ability to capture candid moments that seemed so effortless and yet so elegant. I am in general an extremely picky person and I have always hated those typical wedding pictures that everyone has of all the same poses and with everyone just standing there looking straight at the camera smiling. I definitely did not want those generic boring photos. So when I came across Chrissy’s work, I was so blown away. I quickly pointed out to my fiancé at the time, that this is what I wanted. Chrissy seemed to capture real emotions, real candid moments, and the real excitement of the day. We met Chrissy when we did our engagement shoot and let me tell you, it was probably the most fun I have ever had taking pictures. I had a little entourage of family and friends with us and she had us all cracking up and in love with her within minutes. The pictures turned out so lovely and so artistic. I was ecstatic to use them as the main focal point for our wedding invitation. And I used a lot of them to display in frames at our reception and got so many compliments. I now have those great pictures hanging in our home and just love them. Having Chrissy at our wedding was like having a close friend there the whole time. She is so amazing, she captured our day like it was a story. There is so much light and life in all of our pictures. You get a real sense of the joy and emotions of that day. It was truly effortless and honestly felt like I had one of my closest friends around us. Chrissy has a more killer squad than Taylor Swift’s. Simone Jaramillo was an amazing second shooter who captured so many beautiful elements and amazing candid shots. And Kaylee Duke, our videographer blew us away with her artist eye and amazing editing skills. These three ladies knocked it out of the park. I couldn’t be happier with my choice to have them capture our day. At the reception when it came time to dance, I looked over to see the three of them singing along with huge smiles on their faces and that made me so happy to see that they were genuinely enjoying themselves and you could see how much they truly loved their work because of the joy that radiates from them. If you can’t tell already, I highly recommend Chrissy and her squad. These ladies were amazing and now I have proof of what an awesome day we had and I have added more people to love in my life! Chrissy is an amazing photographer and person. We first met her over drinks to scout locations for our wedding day photos and we knew right then she would not only capture great photos for our wedding day, but be an enjoyable and fun addition to our bridal party for the day. During the evening, she and her assistant captured a bunch of photos. Even though she left after 10 p.m., she sent me a “sneak peak” with over 20 photos the next day! Now that’s dedication. The photos look amazing and I cannot wait to see the rest of them! You won’t regret hiring Chrissy. Book her now!! you wont regret!! I don't even know where to begin... SHE was EVERYTHING. I had to mention her during my thank you speech because she was more than just a wedding photographer. Chrissy is your girl!! My wedding morning was going so perfect!!....until my bouquets got to my hotel room with all the wrong flowers. From that moment on I had one problem turn into another throughout the day. But all I remember is Chrissy reminding me that my flowers still looked beautiful, and that the night was about having fun and a celebration of love. Till this day all my family and I can talk about is how much we love Chrissy and cannot wait to work with her again! Also, the preview pictures she posted soon after we're freaking AMAZING and we cannot wait to see the rest! On top of all that, she worked with Jordan and I while we were living Florida, me not keeping in touch with her (SORRY!), Skyping once we got to California to finally "meet", and when we did meet it was like we we're friends! Chrissy is a very talented professional and so much fun to work with. You’d almost forget you’re having a photo shoot since she has a way of making one feel comfortable and relaxed. It was cloudy and cold both days we had our engagement shoot and wedding day. Chrissy knew where to take us for good lighting, setting and background. Chrissy!!!!! Ben and I just went through our phot gallery and we are ecstatic! 🥰🥰🥰 I have only gone through it once, and I will definitely spend the entire rest of my day looking over them again and again and again and again!
